9 New Tokens Taking The Crypto Markets (And Investors) By Storm

Crypto News Talk has the latest on new tokens captivating investors

New cryptocurrencies enter the market frequently. Of course, the market is still new and subject to volatility. Investors should consider carefully which tokens to buy.

Here is a look at nine new tokens emerging this year.

1. Battle Infinity (IBAT)

Business 2 Community has named IBAT, the native crypto of Battle Infinity, the overall best new crypto buy in 2022. Battle Infinity is a gaming platform. Traders can invest in the metaverse-based platform in various ways, including through a fantasy sports league, a DeFi Exchange, or games. $IBAT runs the platform’s ecosystem.

$IBAT has a supply of 10 billion tokens, 4 billion of which have been allocated to investors. The project’s road map includes plans for a PancakeSwap listing, merchandise store launch, celebrity marketing, and NFT land sales.

2. Lucky Block (LBLOCK)

Lucky Block is hosted on the Binance Smart Chain and is highly decentralized. It offers users an opportunity to participate in regular drawings for projects. The first draw, held on May 31, gave away $1 million of LBLOCK.

The native BEP-20 token for Lucky Block is LBLOCK, which has had excellent presales this year after launching on PancakeSwap in January. Lucky Block NFTs are also part of the ecosystem.

3. DeFi Coin (DEFC)

DEFC is the native cryptocurrency of the new DEFI Swap exchange. The DEX allows users to swap and stake various tokens. The system includes a static rewards system that gives all DEFC holders a bonus whenever another holder buys or sells DEFC.

The project’s plans include a DeFI Swap V2, which will add webinars and technical analysis to the exchange. It also consists of a mobile app.

4. Avalanche (AVAX)

Avalanche is a competitor to Ethereum. Three separate blockchains comprise Avalanche, which uses a directic acyclic graph (DAG) protocol rather than either PoS or PoW. Avalanche says that DAG allows less opportunity for fraud. Its native token, AVAX, is used to pay network fees and validate. It is burned regularly.

5. Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR)

Business 2 Community has named HBAR, native crypto on Hedera Hashgraph, the “Best New Cryptocurrency with Unique Blockchain Technology.” Hedera Hashgraph also uses a DAG protocol, and the network can handle more than 100,000 transactions per second. The primary function of Hedera Hashgraph is payment processing, and it seeks to compete with Visa. The network also can support smart contracts.

6. Theta (THETA)

THETA is one native token on the Theta platform. Business 2 Community named it the “Top New Cryptocurrency Today Featuring Compelling Use Case.” The project aims to decentralize video streaming. THETA tokens are used primarily for governance, and TFUEL, another native token, is used to pay content creators. Investors can use THETA for staking, which exchanges it into TFUEL.

Companies, including Sony and Samsung, are investing in THETA.

7. ApeCoin (APE)

ApeCoin (APE) is the native token of “The Otherside,” an upcoming metaverse project of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC). APE is a part of several blockchain-based games, such as Benji Bananas.

8. Fantom (FTM)

Fantom uses similar technology to Hedera Hashgraph and has lower fees and faster speeds than the Ethereum network. Fantom also is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine so that dApp developers can port applications over to Fantom.

9. Ankr (ANKR)

Ankr offers tools for dApp developers within several niches and is not a blockchain network. “Ankr Earn” allows investors to stake across many chains. Ankr also lets developers set up nodes and access them remotely.
